Here’s an innovative way to use your favorite cereal! We made this fruity yogurt bark with the kids recently and they loved it. You can substitute any type of sugary or non-sugary cereals too, if that’s what you prefer instead of ours (although we think theirs was really delicious).

I am a pretty big cereal person. It doesn’t really matter if it’s breakfast, a snack or dessert; I always feel like something with grains and milk will make me happy when the day gets going!

This easy Frozen Greek Yogurt Cereal Bark is made with Vanilla Greek yogurt, Malt-O-Meal Fruity Stars, toasted coconut and dried cranberries! It’s a tasty treat that’s simple enough for kids or those who are low on time. Plus it looks so colorful in your morning cereal–a great way top start off all day right 🙂

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Greek Yogurt (I used Vanilla)
  • 1/2 cup Malt-O-Meal Fruity Stars
  • 1/3 cup shredded coconut, sweetened
  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over low heat, toast coconut, stirring occasionally, until it is golden brown (about 4-5 minutes). Pull off of the heat.
  2. Line a 9×9 baking dish with non-stick foil. Spread Greek Yogurt in an even layer in the bottom of the baking dish.
  3. Top the Greek Yogurt with Malt-O-Meal Fruity Stars, shredded coconut, and dried cranberries.
  4. Freeze for 4-5 hours, or until bark is hard.
  5. Break bark with a sharp knife. Store leftovers in the freezer in freezer safe bags or containers.
